The upcoming film 28 Years Later is generating a lot of buzz as it nears its 2025 release. Directed by Danny Boyle, it is a long-awaited sequel to the 2002 film 28 Days Later and its 2007 follow-up, 28 Weeks Later.
Set 28 years after the outbreak, the movie introduces a new narrative where society has been devastated by a violent plague of infected individuals.
The plot follows a young boy who ventures into the wilds of northern England, seeking a doctor to help his dying mother, while hiding from the infected.
The film features a strong cast, including Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Cillian Murphy, who reprises his role as Jim from the original film.
A new teaser poster for 28 Years Later has been released, accompanied by the ominous tagline, “Time Didn’t Heal Anything.” The movie is set to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
