The car has been spotted driving around muskegon, catching the attention of both locals and tourists alike. it’s incredible to see the Look on people’s faces when they recognize the car, said Tim. The project has gained popularity, even selling faster Than A Squishy drink at the Kwik-E-Mart.
Tim explains that the buyer of his first version of the car reached out after seeing it online, eager to purchase it. Though Tim says his work appeals to niche groups, it’s clearly resonating with Simpsons fans everywhere.
In a post-COVID world, Tim believes many people are seeking nostalgia from their childhood, and his recreated car offers just that. While the project is far from finished, Tim remains dedicated to perfecting every detail. “It’s all about the fun,” he says, “and seeing people sit in the car and smile when they see how spot-on it is.”
