Marking the sixth edition of the national competition and the first under the leadership of National Director Ariella Arida, Miss Universe Philippines 2013. The coronation night is scheduled for May 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where Chelsea Anne Manalo of Bulacan will pass on her crown to her successor.
This year’s competition features a diverse group of 69 official delegates representing various localities and Filipino communities worldwide. Notable participants include seasoned beauty queens such as Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez, the first Filipina to win Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017, now representing Muntinlupa; Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, Miss International 2018 first runner-up; and Yllana Marie Aduana, a previous Miss Philippines Earth titleholder.
The pageant has also seen a significant organizational shift, with Ariella Arida stepping into the role of National Director. Arida aims to bring a renewed vision and enthusiasm to the pageant, focusing on training and development to shape the next generation of Filipina beauty queens.
As the competition progresses, various local pageants have crowned their representatives. Eloisa Jauod emerged victorious as Miss Universe Philippines Laguna 2025 during the coronation night held on January 16 in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Similarly, Alessandra Ysabelle Eugenio of Bagong Ilog was crowned as Pasig City’s official representative.
